Albanese is world famous - especially in the USA.

American confectionery manufacturer founded in 1983 in Merrillville, Indiana and is known for its wide variety of gummies, chocolates, and other candies, including its popular 12 Flavor Gummi Bears.

Albanese has won several awards for product innovation and quality, including being recognized as the "World's Best" gummi, a title they have held since 2000.

Selling in stores all over the USA with their gummies, they also famous for luxury giftable chocolate available on Amazon, their own e-commerce page and their brick n' mortar store.

TIME FOR A FRESH TAKE

In need of a fresh take on their brand for their chocolate line, Albanese trusted Pearl Resourcing.

Using our unique BRAND CLARITY process we launched an exploration that elevated their chocolate gifting.

We defined the customer, mission, vision, voice, personality for Albanese and curated color pallet's and a mood to maintain brand integrity in an elevated way.

Next we analyzed their idea product catalogue of giftable items. With multiple sizes and the need for mix-n-match options we designed around a limited core pallet of primary rich colors.

Elevating their existing pallet required deeper colors that remained simple. We added texture with a hashed UV spot finish pattern so each box caught the eye.

Embracing the seasonality and emotion of gifting we crafted heart shaped boxes in red and black - ensuring all year around (not just Valentine's Day) customers could gift the appropriate color pallete.
